Odisha Tourism Signed A Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) With Aditya Birla Group

Odisha Tourism on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aditya Birla Group for operation and management of interpretation centre at Khandagiri-Udayagiri hills in Bhubaneswar.

The interpretation centre will be called ‘Eternal Gandhi Peace Centre’. The centre will impart knowledge on cardinal principle of truth and non-violence of Mahatma Gandhi including Jainism.

The project involves installation of a life size statue of Mahatma Gandhi with interactive multimedia show relating to the teaching of the father of nation and depiction of the tenets of Jainism, said Tourism and Culture minister Ashok Chandra Panda.

“The centre will attract huge number of domestic and international visitors to this historic site of Khandagiri-Udayagiri and can witness the gospel of truth and non-violence. It will extensively propagate Gandhian Principle and Jain ideology,” said Panda.
