Sabyasachi Mohapatra – Odia Film Director, Writer, And Producer Biography

Sabyasachi Mohapatra is a renowned Odia film director, writer, and producer. He owns a production house named Mohapatra Movie Magic.

Early Life & Career:

Sabyasachi was born on 27 August 1950 at Lehedi, Subarnapur, Odisha, India. He entered into Ollywood industry in the year 1974.

He directed his first film Bhukha in Kosali Language that won International Jury award at Gijon Film festival. Later he directed and produced couple of movies. His movie Jai Jagannatha, a mythological film, was a mega-budget released in fifteen different Indian languages.

After 25 years, director Sabyasachi Mohapatra is back with Sala Budha, another movie set on a rural background in the western part of the state. The film is based on a novel by renowned author Kapilesh Prasad Mohapatra (his father).

Then he has given his continuous effort to the Odia Film Industry and his many movies are added as the best movie.
